THE GOJI FRUIT
Goji: (lyceum barbarum or chinese wolf berry) Goji is a berry that grows on bushes with vines that reach up to 15 feet in length. The berries are not touched with bare hands since they have a tendency to oxidize and turn black once in contact with flesh. They are harvested by shaking the bush and capturing the berries in baskets. They are then sun dried. Goji berries are deep red in color and are the size of a cranberry or cherry.
