Mangosteen Fruit
The flavor of the mangosteen is reported to be exquisitely delicious. The soft white flesh resembling a bright white tangerine has a perfectly balance sweet to sour taste. It has a citrus-peach - strawberry sense to it that is remarkable and truly unlike any other flavor. Strict agricultural restrictions prevent mangosteen from being imported to the United States making it impossible to find fresh mangosteen fruit outside the tropics.
